What is the protocol for getting this up to the latest version (0.5.9) @zachasme? I believe all it needs is an updated PKGBUILD with the latest version and checksum.

Good point. It's now using the binaries provided by the official GitHub page.

It's using the binary provided by AWS, not the one from GitHub. I would also like to see the GitHub binary, instead of the AWS binary. Link to the github binary: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/aws-iam-authenticator/releases/download/v0.3.0/heptio-authenticator-aws_0.3.0_linux_amd64 This would also make the version easier to track, since right now the version is tracked using the k8s version reported by AWS, instead of the aws-iam-authenticator version.

Why is this not using the binaries provided by the official GitHub page. I find the difference in both versioning and file-size a bit suspicious.
