Looks like in 4.2.1 you need to export AWS_VAULT_BACKEND=file to keep using an encrypted file backend, otherwise it will default to kwallet

It looks like this is caused by the binary name being shared across versions. I recommend changing the source to the following:


Then install -Dm755 $pkgname-$pkgver "${pkgdir}/usr/bin/aws-vault"

Oops, the ${pkgver} variable wasn't getting evaluated. I push a new PKGBUILD, it should work now.
