If your system is setup to build debug packages there will be conflicts between thhis one and visual-studio-code-bin-debug since both of them contain a few identical binaries.

The easiest way to solve this is to either simply not build the debug packages or uninstall visual-studio-code-bin-debug.

Does not work with PostgreSQL plugin: I get "PG SQL exited unexpectedly" on start

@wiill, the checksum included in the PKGBUILD file for the code.desktop file was incorrect. I ran sha256sum code.desktop and replaced it, then it worked.

Are you sure that this package required gconf ? EDIT: Works without it.

@wiill @wayneb resetting the build files worked for me too - thanks!

@wiill @sardaukar Thank you. I had to go into the details of the package under Build files and hit Reset build files before it would work.

@wayneb @sardaukar both makepkg and aura are happy with the checksum on my side, could you guys try building with makepkg to see what happens?

Same here. code.desktop ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

sardaukar commented on 2019-11-16 19:11 (UTC)

This is pretty weird - I get a validity check error for code.desktop but I've downloaded it manually and ran sha256 on it and it matches what the PKGBUILD file says. I must be doing something wrong...? Using pamac-gtk, trying to install v1.13.1-1

All I needed to do to get 1.9.0 to work is to bump the version number, and update the checksums.
