Sorry lads, I'm at the Polish Ukraine border helping allocate refugees. Expect no update until this hell is over, wish us luck. Have no time nor access to my rig and AUR keys to test/post updates. If you have a patch, ping me on email - I'll add you as co-maintainer. Posted with my old script - https://github.com/bartoszek/aur-post

It seems this package runs a whole heap of tests ("tests/babl_fish_path_fitness") when building, taking up several minutes of single-core execution on a modest machine. It would be nice if that could be disabled.

@msx, this page documents the use of VCS sources in PKGBUILD files: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VCS_PKGBUILD_Guidelines

@diverse_izzue. thanks! I have a doubt on how to correctly use new pacman's VCS capabilities, what exactly does these two variables: _gitroot=GITURL _gitname=babl As it seems from looking the build script it seems they are automatically parsed by pacman, am I right? Thanks in advance :)

I have adopted this and updated the package. Let me know if things break.

I packed updated PKGBUILD and patch here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/x2yg3y - with gimp-git you always should use latest gegl-git and babl-git iirc

http://file.karelia.ru/46jn3q/ This is a package made from a while back. I had to look at the page well to see it there. will try. I found it from going to gimp-git: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=26783&O=&L=&C=&K=&SB=&SO=&PP=&do_Orphans=&SeB=

just add 3 things to file. file with patch to sources, md5sum given by makepkg -g and line: "patch -p1 < ../name-of-patch.patch" in pkgbuild after cd $_gitname-build
