As a short term solution, downgrade mpv to its previous version v0.20.0. I'm in the process of finding out what has changed, basically mpv is failing to initialize with the new version.

--- Update ---

Fixed it with latest commit, make sure that mpv runs standalone, you may need to recompile it.

Do you mind adding a pkgver() section to the PKGBUILD? This would help keeping this package up-to-date without rebuilding it even if no new commits have been pushed.

See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VCS_package_guidelines or proto file installed by pacman.

Yes, you may note: https://github.com/u8sand/Baka-MPlayer/tree/master/arch
This change has been made and will take place upon our next release (most likely today).

It seems you are using the "release" branch, then you probably want to remove the '-git' suffix as this is usually used for the 'master' or 'trunk' branch. Please see PKGBUILD guidelines on AUR for more information.

Thanks

It seeme that you are checking out from "release" branch, then you probably not need the '-git' suffix, please see PKGBUILD guidelines for more details.

'-git' suffix usually means 'trunk' or 'master'

Thanks

Please merge this package into baka-mplayer-git. I apologize for initially submitting it with the wrong name.
