to prevent future out of date flags: if you want 2.9.x go to banshee-git.

2.9.x tags from gnome are non usable.

Is it possible to politely request for the iPod support to be re-added? That feature was the primary use of Banshee for me.

Why did you remove the support for apple iPod? This extension works fine for me. Got back to 2.6.2-10 for that.

Is gstreamer0.10 meant to be a make dependency? I was unable to build banshee without it.

fixed thanks.

also removed things that did not work/ were useless

lastly, trimmed the deps (no more gdata gudev beans or webkit)

I can confirm that adding --disable-daap to the build options has fixed the crash for me.

ugjka commented on 2017-07-22 07:37

--disable-daap \ fixes the crash

@JohnRobson taglib-sharp-git is needed to get the id tags (or whatever they are called) from flac and opus files.

I only use flac and opus.. (and speex if i have to)
