Two tips I found today when I looked for why my keyboard indicator stopped working: 1) remove killall line from start() function in bashets.lua; sometimes it kills new instances created by subsequent launch of updater script 2) add bashets.stop() to your awesome finalization code, otherwise it will flood your terminal with a lot of warnings due to the fact that awesome is dead but updater script still sends requests through dbus (yes, it is know issue for xmonad/dzen users, too;)

Hello, msx. Bashets is complatible with latest stable 3.4.9 which was released today. :) To use bashets with ealier versions of awesome, you need to replace connect_signal with add_signal, and also you need to replace some widget update code, since some widgets underwent changes during past time. Also you are able to find a suitable earlier commit on gitorious for < 3.4.9. :)

hello zhuravlik, guys: sinces bashets actually asks for awesome-git and i'm running the 'stable' awesome i would like to know if i can adapt and use bashets in it; didn't tried yet, just wanted some feedback before, thank you!

0.5: 1) bug fixed: update time setting did not really affect updates, 2) added support for external updates on the script side through dbus (external = true in options)

It seems that 0.3.2 requires awesome-git.
