I'm afraid it's the same for me here, I could compile it, but I got a segfault as well. I tried to remove it from my i686 installation as well, and compile it again (in the case it would be something with new stuffs), but it's running fine on my i686 system. As a workaround, so you can play it on your 64 bit box, just d/l the i686 version (it's a single binary), if you have some lib32 such as sdl and such, you can run it anyway:
