There's no reason for bCNC and bCNC-git to conflict with each other. I've installed both and they play along nicely. It's very important for me to have both installed as some features are broken in stable and some are broken in git.

Does "cut" operation work for you? It does nothing when i execute it. and when i try the "bowl generator" the generated g-code is completely flat in XY plane without any offset to Z axis (=no cutting). Problem is same for bcnc and bcnc-git. Maybe there's something wrong with package...

python2-pillow is necessary to use the heightmap generator. Maybe add it as an optional dependency ?
