About the pkgbuild

missing git as makedepends
please use SPDX license indentifier https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PKGBUILD#license
lack correlation between source=() and pkgver=, v1.0.0 don't exists at the moment and is a VCS (-git) pkgbuild in disguise without a pkgver(), since you are the upstream developer you can easily create a fixed version
