@tavianator: Looks like that fixed it! Everything completes and bfs --version now reports bfs 2.4.1-16-g64426f1.

@italic: Does this happen with a regular makepkg build? I tried a Manjaro container and that worked fine. Couldn't test pamac build though, because it required systemd running in the container.

Also, can you try bfs-git? I just pushed a commit that might help you: https://github.com/tavianator/bfs/commit/64426f1a89450a0f79b723a4d966f7f9c7492c60

I've been getting a build error on Manjaro since 2.4.1 release. This is updating through pamac.
