in response to TheCleaner's comment: the build method pre-1.1 was identical to the build method of bibata-cursor-theme at the time it was forked. now, both build methods take much less time.

Nice Cursor-Theme, but WHY does it take so long to compile compared to the original bibata-cursor-theme?
