In an effort to prevent these issues with cached downloads and conflicting sums, I have updated the PKGBUILD to download to BinkLinuxPlayer-$pkgver.7z
ainola commented on 2016-09-04 23:48 (UTC)
Looks like you're using pacaur. Try cleaning the cache at ~/.cache/pacaur/binkplayer
I've verified that the sha256sum is correct.
SultanofRum commented on 2016-09-04 23:46 (UTC)
Hey, the provided sha256sum for the BinkLinuxPlayer.7z seems to be incorrect:
==> Validating source files with sha256sums...
BinkLinuxPlayer.7z ... FAILED
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!
:: failed to verify binkplayer integrity

Turns out its some weird yaourt bug. Manual build works fine. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The sum was right and is still right. Please check your own system for any faults.

Wow, I have no idea how that line got deleted. I'm sorry for that, it's all fixed now!

==> Building and installing package
==> ERROR: binkplayer is not available for the 'x86_64' architecture.
Note that many packages may need a line added to their PKGBUILD
such as arch=('x86_64').
==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build binkplayer.

I'm no longer interested in maintaining this. If someone wants to take over let me know.
