@389git that looks like a regular build error not related to packaging. You can report that at https://github.com/monero-project/monero/issues. Edit: already reported upstream https://github.com/monero-project/monero/issues/1328

If you don't want to wait for the issue to be fixed, you can also try building the release version at https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/monero.

Yes you right, I activate 8Gb swap and build process was continued.
But it stopped with an error at 67%:

I think may be the error is related with the lack of hardware AES support.

What do you think, what will be the advice?
what else can I do to find the cause?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

@389git you probably don't have enough memory on your system. Add more memory to your system or increase your swap space. Otherwise, file a bug report at https://bugs.archlinux.org/

@redfish I've opened https://github.com/monero-project/monero/issues/1114 but this package is only producing:

[ FAILED ] 3 tests, listed below:
[ FAILED ] DNSResolver.DNSSECFailure
[ FAILED ] DNSResolver.GetTXTRecord
[ FAILED ] AddressFromURL.Success

redfish commented on 2016-09-21 13:56

@anonimal: it might be a different problem because the DNS tests I was referring to are excluded (see check() in PKGBUILD). Maybe pastie your full output from running tests/unit_tests/unit_tests directly?

anonimal commented on 2016-09-21 06:55

DNS tests are still failing for me. I'm using dnsmasq + forcing a single nameserver in /etc/resolvconf.conf (and in /etc/resolv.conf, 127.0.0.1 + said single nameserver). monerod works as expected though. Shall I open a ticket?

redfish commented on 2016-09-17 05:36

Update: excluded DNS tests that used to often fail on some systems (depending on nameserver in /etc/resolv.conf). Now the package should build and check fine with default args to makepkg/yaourt.

@redfish, thanks! This worked for me!
yaourt --m-arg --nocheck -S monero-core-git

@DevotedFollower: yes, just rebuild the package. This is common: you have to manually update AUR packages when you update the system and the system contains an update to libraries used by AUR packages. I don't know of an easy way that would identify what needs to be rebuilt, but there should be a way because the dependencies are declared.
