@sum01 Bisq and Bitsquare are different. Bitsquare is the old version and will probably no longer be maintained. Bisq is the new version and that is where all the development will be going to.

I'll continue to try and maintain both Bisq and Bitsquare PKGBUILDs.

Why not submit a merge request into bisq, or are they not the same?

Development has moved to bisq. I'll still make updates to bitsquare if need but you'll have to let me know what versions to update to.

I cannot confirm it will work, but your issue sounded really similar to what I found on another issue tracker.

I posted the link & a TL;DR on that gist

Currently cannot build because of the error here:

If anyone has a solution to get Maven to find protoc executable let me know. In the meantime, you can install bitsquare-bin.

Build should be fixed now.

See for details.

I did use 206b5bf7085405dd1f39b562905c65f5216f4bb5 when testing locally. I didn't commit it because it doesn't build.

The above commit hash is outdated:
Here is the latest BitcoinJ version needed:
Or simply take always the latest version from the branch.

This package is a binary package as @M0Rf30 said. Please use bitsquare-bin. See issues with bitsquare-git for why building from source isn't currently available.
