Hi, libertylocked. Thanks for maintaining!

The downloaded source package should be "bitwarden-cli-${pkgver}.tar.gz" instead of the static "bitwarden-cli-source.tar.gz". This will help differentiate between source versions as well as allow AUR helpers to upgrade without issue (otherwise they'll think that the older version is the newer version).

@mtorromeo fixed thanks

Package is referencing $_pkgname instead of $pkgname

pkgbuild is updated to compile from source. Now it depends on nodejs, but the package itself is a lot smaller (since the binary is no longer bundling nodejs runtime).

@libertylocked

Excellent. I will gladly cede ownership of this package to you. Thanks!

@StephenBrown2

Thanks. I'll update this package to build from git source when I have a chance.

Hi @libertylocked,

Certainly. I don't believe packages can be renamed, but a new bitwarden-cli-bin package can be created with this PKGBUILD, and this one changed to use the sourceball. I see you've already submitted bitwarden-cli-git and bitwarden gui, would you like to take ownership of this package as well to make that happen?

I've made you a co-maintainer in case you're willing.

is it possible to rename this package to bitwarden-cli-bin so we can have a bitwarden-cli that compiles from source (that we can potentially remove the bundled nodejs from the dist)? thanks

Sure thing. Version bumped, PKGBUILD updated to put it in /usr/bin, and specifies the license is actually GPLv3.

Thanks for the aur package :) Could you just change the installtion path to /usr/bin/bw instead of /usr/bin/local/bw please? This is the standard place all executables are.
