This package is still necessary as it builds the static library libbt.a that is needed by bbkeys. Unfortunately, the community package disabled building of the static library.

I'm on my second round of attempting to install blackbox and bbkeys. Blackbox doesn't really work without BBKeys.

AUR blackboxwm fails to build (after git clone ... and makepkg). Brand new Archlinux install.

Initially Screen.cc shows some "deprecated" warnings, then Toolbar.cc shows repeated "error: 'localtime' was not declared in this scope" starting line #260 through to #463.

The repeated advice "did you forget to '#include <ctime>'" made me hope this is just a simple omission that could be easily fixed?

I think the following needs a patch in your fork

‘std::mem_fun_t<_Ret, _Tp> std::mem_fun(_Ret (_Tp::*)()) [with _Ret = void; _Tp = BlackboxWindow]’ is deprecated: use 'std::mem_fn'

I also think that libxt should be added as a dependency or you get a time_fn error, I am not sure how they are related but the error went away.

There is community based on your fork without static, there is blkbx-git and none really build anymore AFAICT.

Hello bidulock, blackbox in official repos is same package. I think this should be deleted.
