This official package no longer includes the systemd service since it may cause issues with Bloop clients (cf. comments on PR #1284). It is now in a separate package bloop-systemd

Install fails with:

==> Validating source files with sha256sums... ... FAILED

Hello, the package is now automatically updated by Bloopoid on new releases. I can modify it temporarily but I'll make a PR to remove the unnecessary dependency.

diazkun commented on 2019-07-07 00:56

This package does not need the dependency scala. It only needs a jvm as dependency. Please change the PKGBUILD.

I can install it from source, could you try? The hash in pkgbuild and srcinfo matches

That error I got was from yay in the terminal. If it's working for you maybe that's because of your local yay cache? I've cleared mine and the error persisted.

1.3.2 doesn't work from pamac but DOES work from the terminal (yay, makepkg, etc.); not sure why

1.3.2 doesn't work:

:: Parsing SRCINFO (1/1): bloop
==> Making package: bloop 1.3.2-1 (Sat 15 Jun 2019 09:29:25 AEST)
==> Retrieving sources...
  -> Found
==> Validating source files with sha256sums... ... FAILED
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

jypma commented on 2019-02-13 08:00

checksum failing on again:

==> Validating source files with sha256sums... ... FAILED
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

Perhaps they've changed the script on the server?

You're right, it seems that I've misconfigured the new bot. I'll fix that in a few hours. EDIT: now fixed, sorry for the inconvenience
