The download directory only hosts latest file, so in case of 404 error, open the directory to see what's the current version and EDIT the PKGBUILD accordingly, SKIP-ping the b2sum.

The python dependency changed to 3.9 in 1.6.5: https://files.ballistica.net/bombsquad/builds/CHANGELOG.md

The
python3
dep for this PKGBUILD should be changed topython38
, as the package relies on this specific python version.ritiek commented on 2020-10-22 09:28 (UTC) (edited on 2020-10-22 09:31 (UTC) by ritiek)
The official download URL seems to have been updated to https://files.ballistica.net/bombsquad/builds/BombSquad_Linux_${pkgver}.tar.gz. I think it would be nice to use this one just in case if the old URL stops redirecting to the new URL. Also, the menu item doesn't have an icon which I think would be nice if taken from https://files.ballistica.net/bombsquad/promo/BombSquadIcon.png.
