Happy to see that you finally updated this. Was getting tired of manually having to change the md5.

@specter456, I had sound issues as well. I managed to fix it by installing
pulseaudio-alsa
andpulseaudio-jack
. I think only one of the 2 is needed depending on how Boosteroid is developed (likely alsa) but I can't be bothered to test which.To give some more context, the audio would work fine if it was the only application running, but if I was also watching YouTube or was on a Discord chat it wouldn't work. Or if I launched Boosteroid first, it would prevent the other videos from working.
I guess since I didn't have an alsa audio server, only 1 application could communicate with the audio lib at a time? So whichever launched first got "dibs" on it.

No, I haven't had any sound issues on my system so far.

X11 works for me too. Thank you! But I do not have any sound if I start the boosteroid app... do you have similar issues? If I start it via Chrome it works...

I had the same problem under Wayland. With
QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb
I forced the use of Xwayland and the segfault disappeared.specter456 commented on 2023-08-04 10:52 (UTC) (edited on 2023-08-04 10:53 (UTC) by specter456)
I used the latest version, but I am not able to use it. If I try to start a game "Diablo IV" I get a segmentation fault (core dumped) after Net::WSClient]: Sending mic enabled: false / Net::WSClient]: Sending framerate: 250.
If I use my browser its working like charm.
