@hwittenborn I got the same output as Zeros. But I tried the AppImage they provide and it worked well.

@lightsaber Is there any specific error you're getting?
I'm able to start it from both the desktop icon and by running
bootstrap-studio
on my end.If it's just not starting after clicking the desktop icon, try running
bootstrap-studio
and see what the output is?lightsaber commented on 2021-05-20 13:06 (UTC)
I had the same issue as mentioned by @Zeros. I cannot launch the application.

@Zeros Sorry for the delayed response, I haven't gotten around to installing this on my new system until now. I'm assuming stuff from the mailing list made me overlook your comment in my emails -- it should be good to go now though.

Sooo, I installed this and everything says it completed normally, but how do I run it? running "bootstrap-studio" yields a "command not found" outcome, and the package is nowhere to be found in bin

I think package() "{ mv $pkgname.AppImage..." broke the appimage file reference in bootstrapstudio.desktop, which is pointing to "Bootstrap Studio.AppImage".
Also, the Path in the desktop file was pointing to src folder inside pamac's build folder, which is deleted after the install is completed. In this case, I think it's not a problema with the PKGBUILD itself but rather with launcher.sh maybe.
I got it working by changing the bootstrapstudio.desktop file in order to point to the correct appimage location.
