Bottles doesn't depend on libhandy which conflicts to libadwaita.

The python-pathvalidate package is a requirement, but I can't install it, there is always a "could not validate" error when python-pathvalidate is supposed to be installed/updated (to 3.2.1-1).

@bravely_beep lib32-glib is a dependency of lib32-gnutls which is a bottles optional dependency. Install that package if you are using 32bit wine

On my system, running a 32-bit application in a bottle gave me the error message "/lib/ld-linux.so.2: could not open". I checked and only ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 was present, not ld-linux.so.2. Installing the lib32-glib package fixed this; perhaps this should be added as a dependency?
