I have the same error, window shows up but it closes in split of a second. I am using Manjaro, I think it's a failure of manjaro because I have tried another distros packages and the same thing happens. but if you can help me, the error is the following: dmesg: Chrome_IOThread[19902]: segfault at 26338828dfc8 ip 00007f8e02fb1da4 sp 00007f8df0c58888 error 4 in libc-2.28.so[7f8e02f2b000+1b9000] [12551.574905] Code: 02 83 3d e6 99 13 00 01 74 3c 48 85 c0 74 17 48 3b 0d 08 9a 13 00 72 1e 48 3b 0d f7 99 13 00 73 15 48 8d 42 f8 c3 48 8d 4a f8 <f6> 44 17 f8 01 48 0f 45 c1 c3 66 90 48 8d 42 f0 c3 0f 1f 00 31 c0 [12551.574970] audit: type=1701 audit(1535124728.574:7): auid=1000 uid=1000 gid=1000 ses=2 pid=19877 comm="Chrome_IOThread" exe="/opt/brackets/Brackets" sig=11 res=1</f6>

Brackets launches for a split-second and then automatically closes. The Flatpak runs fine but I cannot get the Live Preview working, it throws an error. Any way to fix this package ?

tsouzar commented on 2018-07-02 14:51

Brackets doesn't even show something when I open it. In the terminal there is no output when I try running 'brackets'.

alfredo.ardito commented on 2018-06-24 10:52

Brackets starts but after displaying the main window it self-closes. Any clue?

binTrl commented on 2018-04-27 06:00

PKGBUILD fixed now.
