I had a similar problem to @dan1618, have tried nightly but the problem persists there, havent tried chromium though.
currently downloading and saving images as can be mitigated with wget atm.

@dan1618 Sure, thanks!
I would rather try reporting the issue on their Github

@alosarjos it might be an upstream issue as the error occurs on chromium, just wanted to make you aware, as endeavour OS are pointing at the AUR.
I've only found users on endeavour OS have an issue, but there maybe other cases outside endeavour OS.

@dan1618, If I understood correctly, you have the same issue with Chrome, so it's either an upstream issue, or something with your install

@dan1618 Are you using any special flags? COuld you try without them if that's the case?

Not possible to download files with brave
https://forum.endeavouros.com/t/fresh-install-brave-and-chromium-cant-download-files/46015
Is this an AUR / Brave / Endeavour OS issue?

I've deployed a little Docker container that will check once a day for updates and update the package automatically.
So next time it may take some hours before it gets updated but I will be automatic.

@Takuya Here we only repackage the debian package provided by brave. For bugs from the app you should rather report it on their Github

Good evening. First of all, thank you very much for your work, time and dedication. Since the update today, the scaling is broken, I'm on Sway, I've had it forced on the Sway config file, but it had no effect, after the update, every time I launch Brave, the scaling is broken (the height of the search bar is really oversized, the tooltips texts, the elements, the menus, the texts in the name of the tabs, etc), even with the forced scaling for GTK apps disabled (commented). I don't know if it's because of a merge in Chromium, in Brave or because I configured anything else (I don't remember and from the little I can remember, I don't think I configured anything else). I don't know if it's just me facing this issue/bug or anybody else. Bests regards :).

@ant0n et all, lets keep the comments here about packaging issues, general Brave usage issues should go in another forum to not clutter up this comment space. I'm deleting comments that have no relation to packaging. Grey areas like crashes that could be blamed on Arch can stay until proven otherwise, but things like how to configure Brave to handle popups or site X or whatever just don't belong here. Thanks for understanding.
