Hello, the AUR package brightnessctl-git was just orphaned and I adopted it, I have enabled logind on that package while fixing it. Let me know if you have any issues :)

I just found out about your package. The 0.4 version doesn't have logind support... Your package uses the SUID bit (brightnessctl always runs as root).
Right now my brightnessctl-sd-git package uses logind and I am still waiting for the 0.5 release to discuss the use of logind with the maintainer of the community package.
