The package actually needs ghostscript to work, but it doesn't pull it as a depencency. I installed the package on a new (minimal) machine, but the printer didn't work (it did on an older machine, using this driver). After installing ghostscript manually, it worked. So I think the package should also depend on ghostscript.

If you encounter "ERROR NAME; typecheck COMMAND; image" when trying to print a pdf file: make sure you actually use brother-brgenml1 as the driver

@petrbel: Cannot reproduce, do you have multilib repo enabled? Also try with no aur helper (plain makepkg).

Hi, I'm having troubles with installation. $ pacaur -S brother-brgenml1 :: Package brother-brgenml1 not found in repositories, trying AUR... :: resolving dependencies... :: no results found for lib32-glibc (dependency tree: brother-brgenml1 lib32-glibc) Seems like lib32-glibc is no longer installable. Could you please help me installing the package? Thanks.

@timofonic: If you look on brothers site for drivers for your printer what drivers are listed? The reason for me to create this package was that the specific (non-generic) driver for my printer was buggy (problem with two-sided printing etc) and was replaced by brother with this more "generic" and has worked without issues since. So if brother lists this driver for your model then you should use "brother-brgenml1".
