When installing on EndeavourOS 6.18.17-1-lts (64-bit), the printer cannot print anything. In the logs, I see this line: [Job 29] sh: line 1: /opt/brother/Printers/dcpj1140dw/lpd/brdcpj1140dwfilter: No such file or directory

When I perform ls /opt/brother/Printers/dcpj1140dw/lpd/*, I see that the missing file is located in either i686/ or x86_64/.

Linking the file one level above solved the issue. Did I miss anything in the setup? Should the installer take care of this?

to get it working with cups, just choose the ppd file and install it manually via

localhost:631
