Hi, thanks for letting me know, I added it.

I believe this package needs ghostscript in the dependencies, without it the printer doesn't react to jobs and the are simply marked as completed without printing anything.

Hi, I updated the PKGBUILD to https, but for me it also worked without. How exactly did you try? I usually check out the repo git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/brother-dcpl2520dw.git and do a makepkg -i.

I'm getting error:

-> Could not find all required packages:
    DCP-L2520DW (Target)

Managed to install it manually after downloading.

No, this is only for printing. You will need https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/brscan4 for scanning.

zeroconf commented on 2022-06-10 16:12 (UTC)

Does this software put also scanning to work? I checked from Brother site, that there are also separate scanning RPM's and DEB's available.

Good find, thanks.

This package installs udev rules to /etc. Shouldn't they be placed in /usr/lib/udev?

tasnad commented on 2016-12-05 13:04 (UTC)

Thanks again, changed it.

You can also remove rpmextract from the makedepends.
