Before I installed this, I followed this guide: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Brother_HL-2170W and I could essentially go through all the steps, except that there was only "Brother HL-2170W Foomatic/ljet4d (en)" as the option (notice that it is "ljet4d (en)" instead of "ljet4e (en)"). I tried installing this package, but still I didn't find any new option. What does this package supposed to add that doesn't already come with cups?

@FlyingIsFun1217, I don't seem to have the problem. If I understand it correctly, it looks like a problem of needing to set paper type in both cups and brother driver, but I am not sure editing /usr/share/Brother/inf/brHL2170Wrc to another hard-coded paper type is the way to go. If the solution suggested in Arch forum works, could you just
# brprintconfiglpr2 -P HL2170W -pt A4
to switch to the appropriate paper size?

Just to clarify, the file that would need to be edited would be /usr/share/Brother/inf/brHL2170Wrc

After wondering why the printing margins have always been screwed up on Arch on this printer, I found this forum topic.

Definitely something that needs to be edited for this package too.
