Hi, sorry for long delay - as requested I've added 'which' dependency :)

Just thought I would put it here but this wasn't working for me because the package which wasn't installed. So after installing the driver and adding the printer (or before) you also need to do a pacman -S which.

Therefore maybe it would make sense to add "which" as a depedency here?

Not working for me either on Manjaro. I was able to use the brlaser driver to print successfully.

Hi, sorry @bentusiiii, no idea what's wrong with your setup. I guess it'd be better to ask on Arch forum instead. Or just look at a PKGBUILD and try to figure it out based on driver package configs and binaries. Good luck!

HI ! i just bought end installed this printer on last manjaro/gnome realease (https://forum.manjaro.org/t/manjaro-21-1-2-pahvo-released/81260) newly fresh installed... The printer has been recognised but is set as "generic text-only printer". So most of print job can't even be spooled. Please could you tell if this come from driver's error or from shell/realease bug ? Can this be fixed from the driver ? I have several other brother printers running on manjaro for years and never had such an error !

many thanks
