ghostscript should be listed as a dependency.
Without it, an error message will be printed instead which reads:

"If you can read this, you are using the wrong driver for you printer."

The version of the upstream driver is still current as of today!

Hi, I don't normally comment on packages -- but I just wanted to thank you!

This package worked flawlessly with CUPS and I am able to print with Linux. No messing around needed.

(I installed during March 2021 FYI)
