This driver doesn't interface well with CUPS - you only get generic printer settings that don't work. If you are a newer user stumbling upon this package, I strongly suggest looking up "Avahi" on the Arch wiki and doing a driverless setup for your printer.

So the build script should have set up the correct links for it to be auto discoverable. A lot of the drivers hard references are in opt that's why you found it there

Are there any instructions on how to use this? I installed this package and was expecting to have the driver listed in cups, but I'm not seeing it.
EDIT: A ppd you can give as the printer driver is stored at /opt/brother/Printers/hll3280cdw/cupswrapper after installing.
