If your printer stopped working and is showing as "Generic Printer" after recent updates, try:

sudo systemctl enable cups.service
sudo systemctl start cups.service

and it should be showing up again. Applies to Arch based distros such as Manjaro Xfce, for example.

If you experience unstable WiFi connection, upgrade your printer to latest firmware!
