The saga continues. My printer now is only printing duplex, even when I select Duplex OFF in print settings.
I discovered this fix, but it would be nice if the driver configured this automatically. https://support.brother.com/g/b/faqend.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=mfc7860dw_all&faqid=faq00100691_000

I figured it out, thanks to this reddit post.
It's surprising that Cups printer settings don't override this.

I'm seeing extra margin on the top of prints. Is there a setting to adjust this? Otherwise, this seems to work great.
