The issue is still here. The installation failed because of a missing dependency: lib32-gcc-libs that needs to be installed manually.

Please add lib32-gcc-libs to the dependencies, otherwise the printer will not print. I found the information about this here: https://wiki.archlinux.de/title/Brother-Drucker at the chapter "Tipps und Tricks".
