This one worked great for me. I only use it for printing though so I can't comment on scanning functionality. I scan to a samba share directly from the printer.

For scanning brscan4 worked perfectly for me.
Otherwise this package handles printing just fine on my system.

This driver does not work. My brother printer either just prints random streams of characters. (Garbage print) or does not respond at all.

Hello, I have no problems with Manjaro XFCE Testing 5-1. But the scanner is not recognized. Do you have a solution to work with this one?
