ghostscript should be added to the dependencies. Without ghostscript, printing fails and /var/log/cups/error_log shows Set job-printer-state-message to "cfFilterGhostscript: cfFilterGhostscript: Unable to launch Ghostscript: gs: No such file or directory"

would this work for the Brother MFC-L3760CDW ? is it the same driver package. thanks

This seams not right.

perl -i -pe 's#/etc/init.d#/etc/rc.d#g' ./cupswrapper/cupswrappermfcl3770cdw

org.cups.cupsd.service doesn't exist anymore, it's just called cups.service now https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/CUPS#Installation

Note that you need to have the 32 bit compatibility layer installed for this driver to work: $ sudo pacman -S lib32-gcc-libs
