hi and thank you providing this to all. finally I got the printer working with your package. brother_lpdwrapper_ql700 complained about missing gs command, installing ghostscript fixed this. Symptoms were: - job is accepted, but nothing happens - printing testpage result in message no pages available
So I think this is a missing dependency.
also I had to restart the printer after installation, before it startet printing (jobs were accepted ...)
some input which helped me tracking down the gs issue, debugging /opt/brother/PTouch/ql700/cupswrapper/brother_lpdwrapper_ql700 : https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-8425474.html (at the last third of that page)

I've modified the PKGBUILD (and bumped the release) based on some input I've got from this and other similar packages. I've verified that the package (brother-ql720nw) works for me, but I'm more than happy to get your feedback ;-).

After upgrade, printes do not work, logs said all OK, but did not work, today I got an error "/usr/lib/cups/filter/brlpdwrapperql700 missing"
If you know how to solved, thanks you!!

For some reason, I can't print after the recent update. I'm sorry to say that I'm a little bit inexperienced with CUPS and debugging, but it seems there might be something wrong with the "brother_lpdwrapper_ql700" script, because I see in the CUPS log things like:
D [04/Jun/2019:15:48:02 +0200] [Job 31] cp: cannot stat \'/usr/lib/cups/filter/brother_lpdwrapper_ql700/inf/brusrlibcupsfilterbrother_lpdwrapper_ql700rc\': Not a directory
Any help is very much appreciated!
