@mativiters I am not sure what the solution is here, because I cannot simply add firefox-nightly as dependency. I think the official way to do it would be to have the package firefox-nightly configured to provide firefox, but probably that wouldn't be desirable either.

Possible to add firefox-nightly and firefox-nightly-bin to acceptable dependencies?

Thanks, this looks much better.

@micwoj92 You are right, it works with current go :) So, I uploaded a new version removing all the non-necessary stuff and fixing a bug I found in the process. Please let me know if anything else can be improved.

No, this is not the way to do it. Did you even try? go is almost 100% backwards compatible.

@micwoj92 Usually this is needed for
go
packages as they are almost never (in my experience) supporting the latest version ofgo
. In this casebrowsh
supports version1.18
and current version in the arch repos is1.19
, which is potentially not compatible.micwoj92 commented on 2022-09-29 15:40 (UTC)
Why are you downloading go?

@Kab1r, can you please release this package so that someone else can pick it up please?
MikuroK commented on 2022-08-04 06:44 (UTC)
@Swivel i did decide to drop this package since the last upstream update, as it wasn't a trivial change, someone else picked it up soon after. Seems they might need some help building this as well...
