Until a new update comes out (should be soon tbh), you can check out this thread for a patch: https://www.reddit.com/r/brutaldoom/comments/54g0wd/patch_to_make_brutal_v20b_work_in_the_latest/

@UncreativeChap, I will look into this tomorrow. Stay tuned for a new version. I'm not sure yet if I will try to push some kind of fix in here, or wait for gzdoom to fix their version. I could always make some kind of patch, or include the patched file.

shoober420, just saw your comment, and I just release one :) This is using the latest version 1c: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/brutal-doom-64/

Brutal Doom 64 was released a couple days ago. Any chance for an AUR package for that? It's bundled with Zandronum, which I don't use. A simple .pk3 would be nice. I prefer GZDoom for Brutal Doom and PRBoom-Plus for vanilla Doom.

Received "Script error, "brutalv20b.pk3:cvarinfo" line 1: cvar 'bd_bloodamound' already exists" after running the brutal-doom command. EDIT: Fixed by editing /usr/share/games/brutal-doom/gzdoom.ini and placing the Doom1&2 autoloads into the global autoload section instead. May not work for all users. If you recieve error: "Script error, "brutalv20b.pk3:blood.txt" line 610: Expected ',', got 'l'." then go to http://www.moddb.com/forum/thread/brutal-doom-bug-on-gzdoom and user shanestrife's comment will fix this. Would post here but it's a giant text wall.

Don't forget .wad files are coded to /usr/share/games/brutal-doom (doom1.wad, etc.). If you want to point that somewhere else, edit /usr/share/games/brutal-doom/gzdoom.ini. Use 'brutal-doom' to launch. If anyone wants default mods enabled/added, let me know (such as Doom 2016 weapons). Games will save to ~/.config/gzdoom/brutal-doom/<save_name>. For the script error, "brutalv20b.pk3:blood.txt" line 610" see http://www.moddb.com/forum/thread/brutal-doom-bug-on-gzdoom until a patch is implemented here, or fixed otherwise "upstream."

Execute bit fixed, i'll double check the rest when i'm home later. Thanks for trying it at least until I tidy things up :)
