Download was impossible from outdated URL. Worked for me with this patch to PKGBUILD:

Please note that the brutefir source has moved to https://torger.se/anders/files/brutefir-1.0o.tar.gz and the Upstream URL has changed to https://torger.se/anders/brutefir.html.
