You meant to use
$CARCH(current architecture string, defined in yourmakepkg.conf) instead of$arch(the array of all supported architectures, defined in thePKGBUILD)eclairevoyant commented on 2023-05-10 22:53 (UTC)
Couple other tips since you mentioned it's your first PKGBUILD:
You can update the
.SRCINFOfile automatically withmakepkg --printsrcinfo > .SRCINFO, don't need to edit it by handMake sure to follow any guidelines mentioned in:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PKGBUILD

Any language specific guidelines (e.g. if you're building a Rust package, refer to https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Rust_package_guidelines)

I made the changes with exception of the last request, as I didn't understand what I was supposed to change. I added you as a co-maintainer. This is the first AUR package I maintain.

@bluetail can you fix the package to install the man pages? (see the git history where I did exactly that)
Also the
cd $srcdirline should just be removed, all functions start in$srcdirThe license is also wrong, the correct format is
GPL2Also as per packaging standards, sources need to be unique in
$SRCDEST, if you just rename it tobtduit will have the wrong checksum on future versions. Alsobtduspecifically would probably conflict in the future if a -git package is created. I suggest using the value that was in my PKGBUILD.
