Weird. It also works for me now, but I didn't change anything. Computers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

EDIT 2023-05-01: It happened again when using the update function of aursync, but if I call aur sync --chroot btdu directly, it does seem to build correctly.

aur-sync --chroot btdu works for me: https://dump.cy.md/7e984065f07e476532836d109de87830/btdu-aurutils-build-log.txt

@twiggers Hi, I consulted with the gurus on #archlinux and I understood that PKGBUILDs can expect to have makedepends packages available at prepare() time. This is now explicitly clarified in the wiki. If you can confirm that aurutils is not doing this, please file a bug there. Thanks!

If i build this using aur-utils, then it complains about dub being absent in the prepare() stage: aur-utils installs make dependencies only in the build() stage.

dtools is here: https://archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/dtools/

aarch64 is supported by a different D compiler subset, so please first test and let me know if this package successfully builds and produces a working installation.

Hi, this package has a dependancy to “dtools” but no such package existe in repos or AUR. There is a “dtool” package although, is it what's required ?

Also, could you please “aarch64” in the list of supported architectures in PKGBUILD ? I can see no reason why such a tool wouldn't compile and run fine there, everything compiled locally does...

Fixed, thank you!

Thanks for maintaining this package.

I've encountered the following error while using btdu installed with this package, after cleaning up unneeded packages from the makedepends (like the d-compiler):

btdu: error while loading shared libraries: libphobos2-ldc-shared.so.98: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

It seems that btdu depends on the D runtime (or some parts of it at least). Adding d-runtime to the depends fixes the above issue for me.

Oops, fixed.
