This package has now been updated. The source files have not changed. I believe the issue @LeightonWong and @van51 were having was caused by upgrading the kernel then installing btusb-qca-0x3004 before a reboot - in this case, the kernel module to be patched could not be found because its path was determined using uname -r.

I've implemented a proposed solution to this. Please comment further here or on the GitHub repo if you experience further issues. It's possible there will still be a problem if you try to install the package for the first time after upgrading the kernel but before a reboot. In that case, you must reboot before install.

I had the same error @LeightonWong reports and I think the reason was a kernel update (4.17.5-1 -> 4.17.6-1). I had to rebuild and reinstall both bluez and this package to have it working again.

@sysrqt Clean the build and recompile works for me. At the beginning, It just can not install and print this: /tmp/alpm_CE3zMO/.INSTALL: line 14: cd: /usr/lib/modules/4.17.3-1-ARCH/updates: No such file or directory rm: cannot remove 'btusb.ko.gz': No such file or directory

@LeightonWong This is working for me on 4.17.2 - could you post any errors you get while installing, or describe the issue?

@katy thank you massively for this package, I have been using it for a while now since it got my bluetooth working on my MSI laptop.

Package updated to take into account skbuff changes. I have not yet been able to test the compiled driver with the bluetooth device so please let me know of any issues. @Dok_L: LED control will depend on your hardware/drivers - happy to discuss this on the forums if you could post some more detail.

It seems this doesn't compile anymore since updating my system. Thank you for finaly getting my bluetooth working! But i have observerd one weird behavior: The wireless indicator led is constantly on. (Before installing this package, it was constantly off)
