This package causes issues with other users if it's updated beyond 12.10. Until a new base package is released (which could now be in doubt due to Ubuntu's decision to drop development of the Unity DE), this package is not out-of-date. If ido-ubuntu does not work for you, you are welcome to create your own PKGBUILD based off this one.

The situation of this budgie-indicator-applet package is the same.
