https://github.com/Buzztrax/buzztrax/releases/download/RELEASE_0_10_2/buzztrax-0.10.2.tar.gz

This is the source now but I'm still getting a C error in the code src/gst/dec/bt-dec.c line 956 the - should be replaced by a different symbol

???

4 months have passed and this is abandoned, about the only such software available in Arch/AUR

Indeed, the upstream site went down and they are still working on putting it back online (see issue #94).

To work around this issue, change the source tarball to

"$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.gz::https://github.com/Buzztrax/buzztrax/archive/RELEASE_${pkgver//./_}.tar.gz"

and sha256sums with

'675ed744cd5209dda11e1d2fcd621d6ca23bf2eac89230bbd39242fe5f4000ed'

However, build still fails as reported in the issue #91.

the build issue is because buzztrax.org is down, replace the source variable with a working link or filepath (not going to give one because i don't want to get it wrong)

@trusktr: I was able to reproduce the issue, so filed an issue in upstream: https://github.com/Buzztrax/buzztrax/issues/91

@rafaelff Hello! I just tried to install this. I'm in Manjaro Linux, and I was using "pamac" package manager (installs from official mirrors as well as AUR).

During the build I got these errors: http://trusktr.io:7777/fametezile.coffee

Any idea how to fix it? (Note, I always ask before researching, then if I figure out the fix I'll come back to post it).

@tubi, What version of source-highlight you have installed?

build failed, don't know why. last part of the output https://gist.githubusercontent.com/anonymous/42ba350237482396df09b7613cd2ee2c/raw/1658360890add1253b97c618b1f3caa22edbd3f9/buzztrax_aur_build_failed.log

@Rafael: Youre right, I probably messed it up myself (although I'm pretty sure I didn't remove the trailing slashes). I redownloaded the snapshot, started with a fresh build dir. and .configure + build succeeds now. Sorry for the noise ;-) LX
