I just tried to install this package and have the same error.

I can't install it :

==> Lancement de pkgver()…
==> ERREUR : pkgver ne doit pas contenir de deux-points, slash, tiret ou espace.
==> ERREUR : pkgver() a généré une version non valide : 0.2.7-2-g34a997d
 -> erreur lors de la compilation de : cacophony-exit status 12

So, it is a french log, so i try to translate it :

==> ERROR : pkgver do not contain ":", "/", "-" or "space"
==> ERROR : pkgver() have validated a non valid version : 0.2.7-2-g34a997d
