Could you please let me join the maintenance of this package :) I want to remove the xcaddy dependency and disable cgo.

I apologize, I've noticed the packaging guidelines, and it seems inappropriate to enable or disable CGO for users. It's fine as it is now.

I released a new one re. "out of date". But really, I don't see how to assign a version properly, as there's no download involved.

edit2: setting export GO111MODULE=on and export GOPROXY=https://goproxy.cn solved it for me. (source https://github.com/projectdiscovery/httpx/discussions/658#discussioncomment-8447603)

Doesn't compile with golang 1.18.1; need to bump caddy version.
