Need a package() function so that all the bzr operations aren't run as fakeroot. Uploaded a fixed PKGBUILD here http://pastebin.com/iF4pEGkF Based on advise received on cairo-dock forums here http://www.glx-dock.org/bg_topic.php?t=4613

I just tried yaourt -S cairo-dock-bzr and it still hangs after 2 minutes. The instructions to download the latest revision found in my PKGBUILD came from the developer's wiki.

@Mautz: I waited five minutes before aborting. I just tried makepkg -c with my PKGBUILD and I connected to launchpad's servers instantaneously to download the latest build (623).

How long did you wait before aborting the build? Connecting to the launchpad servers can take a few minutes.

Everything worked fine after using my build script (see below). Subsequently, I found out that version 612 ironed out some of the bugs I encountered with the official release. So, right now I do not have the motivation to fix something that isn't broken. FYI, I just tried your modified PKGBUILD and it continues to hang when trying to download the latest build from the launchpad servers (http://aur.pastebin.com/wkHTXYtN). Hope this info helps. Also, I forgot to mention that I added -DFORCE_NOT_LIB64=yes in my PKGBUILD to install cairo-dock's pkgconfig into /usr/lib/pkgconfig rather than /usr/lib64 since the plugins-bzr looks for it there.

If you still have problems with the launchpad servers, please tell me so that i can modify the PKGBUILD.
