To build with --enable-symbol-lookup, it worked for me to specify CFLAGS=-I/usr/include/libiberty/

Otherwise I'd receive this error:

Can the mesa-libgl build dependency be replaced with libgl? mesa-libgl conflicts with other libgl implementations.

Sorry for the noise, the problem was clearly on my side: a stale, pre-pacman-4.1-directory named cairo.

Resynced with official package. Does not build with -flto in CFLAGS/LDFLAGS, caveat emptor.

Please, add this line before the ./autogen.sh: export CFLAGS="-flto -ffat-lto-objects" This for build with gcc 4.9.0 (see hree: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77060).
